Beth and her friend Leo want to open a bakery. They have a big plan. Now they look at two shops, but they do not agree.

“I want a shop on the main road,” Beth says. “People can see it.” “It is very expensive,” Leo says. “And you never listen to me!”

The small shop is near the university. It is much cheaper. “We are not happy today,” Leo says. “But we want the same thing,” says Beth.

The phone rings. It is the man from the big shop. “I give you a good price,” he says. “We do not say yes today,” says Beth. “First we look at the numbers.”

They work all evening with a pencil and a lot of paper. At midnight, nobody is angry. They choose the small shop. It is cheaper, students walk past every day, and it has a big window for the bread.
