Omar works in a small office. He is always busy, and he never has a proper lunch. At one o’clock, he eats a biscuit at his desk.

On Monday, there is a green box on his desk. A note says, “Please eat this at one o’clock.” Inside, there is warm soup and bread. Omar looks around the office. Nobody is looking at him.

Omar is hungry, so he eats the soup. It is very good! On Tuesday, there is a new box. This time, there is rice with chicken. The note says, “Sit down. Do not work.”

On Wednesday, Omar wants to find the cook. He asks his boss. He asks Dana at reception. “I do not know,” they both say. But Dana smiles a little.

On Thursday, Omar goes to the kitchen at noon. Mrs Ray, the cleaner, is there with a green box. “You never eat,” she says. “Now you can say thank you.” Omar laughs. “Thank you!” On Friday, a new note says, “Today, we eat together.”
