Ella and Tom are in the same English class. They have a project about animals. They need a poster for Friday. Ella likes drawing. Tom likes finding facts in books.
On Monday, they meet in the library. Ella draws a big blue whale. Tom finds a book about whales. He writes three short facts on a piece of paper.
On Tuesday, Tom is ill and stays at home. Ella sends him a message. “Are you OK? I can finish the pictures.” Tom says, “Yes, thank you. I can write at home.”
On Thursday, they put the pictures and facts on the poster. The title is “Blue Whales”. They read the words together and check the spelling.
On Friday, Ella and Tom show the poster to their class. Their teacher likes the clear pictures and simple facts. Ella says, “We did it together.” Tom smiles.
