Weekend in Edinburgh – your itinerary
Friday: Your train leaves London at 15:30 and arrives in Edinburgh at 20:00. A taxi will take you to the Castle Hotel, where your room is booked for two nights.
Saturday: Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:00. The guided walking tour starts at 10:30 outside the hotel and lasts about two hours. In the afternoon you are free; we recommend visiting the National Museum, which opens at 1 p.m. on weekends.
Please note that the museum visit has changed. Because of repairs, the 4 p.m. tour is cancelled, but you can join the 2 p.m. tour instead. Tickets are already included, so no further payment is needed.
Sunday: Check out before 11:00. Your return train leaves at 17:15, so you can leave your luggage at reception. Remember to bring your booking number and a photo ID.
