A young woman sits under the blue bridge. She is holding a large bag of pictures. “Are you Lily?” Eva asks. “Yes.” Eva takes the red notebook out of her bag. “I think this is yours,” Eva says.

Lily opens it and smiles. “My notebook! Thank you! The pictures in this book are for the show too,” she says. She looks at the rain. “But now there is no show,” she says.

“Your drawings are lovely,” Eva says. Lily shows her a picture of the bakery. Tom is by the window with a tray of bread. Eva looks at the drawing, then at Lily. “Perhaps we can ask Tom for help,” Eva says.

“Tom?” Lily asks. “His bakery has a big window,” Eva says. “People can see your drawings from the street. Your pictures can stay dry inside.” Lily stands up. “Can we ask him?” Lily asks. “Of course. Come under my umbrella.”

They carry the pictures to the bakery together. It is one o’clock now, and the door is shut. A sign says “Closed”. Lily stops. Then Eva sees a light in the kitchen. Someone is still inside.
