On Saturday, Mina goes to the market. She wants to make a fruit salad for her family. At the first stall, there are big red apples, sweet green grapes and yellow bananas.
“Good morning,” says the seller. “Can I help you?” “Yes, please,” says Mina. “I would like two kilos of apples.” The seller puts the apples in a bag.
“Do you have any oranges?” Mina asks. “Sorry, I don’t have any oranges today,” the seller says. “But I have some lemons.” “No, thank you. I don’t need any lemons.”
“Are there any strawberries?” “Yes, there are some strawberries at the back.” They are small and very sweet. Mina takes one box.
“How much is it?” Mina asks. “Six euros fifty,” the seller says. Mina pays and says thank you. She walks home with a heavy bag. It is a beautiful day.
