My First Day at Work

Daniel has a new job in a large office. He wears a blue shirt and carries a small notebook. His first meeting is at nine o’clock.

The office has many rooms. Daniel sees the kitchen, the lift, and two glass doors. He cannot find Meeting Room B.

A woman at reception sees him. “Do you need help?” she asks. Daniel says, “Yes, please. Where is Meeting Room B?”

She shows him the sign near the lift. Meeting Room B is on the left, not on the right. Daniel thanks her and walks slowly to the room.

He arrives before nine. He opens his notebook and writes, “Meeting Room B, second floor.”
