It is Friday evening. Maya calls her friend Leo. On Saturday, they go to the market. Maya wants a plant. Leo wants a present for his sister.
They take the bus. The first bus is at nine. Maya works until half past nine. They take the ten o’clock bus.
Leo looks at the weather. Maybe it rains in the afternoon. “We go to the small market,” he says. “It has a café.”
Maya asks, “Can you bring a big bag?” Leo says yes. They meet at the bus stop at a quarter to ten.
Maya writes the time on a note. Now she has a plan. She sets her alarm.
