Amy is waiting at the station. It is half past eight, and her brother Dean is not there. She is holding two tickets and looking at the clock. Her phone is ringing.

“Where are you?” Amy asks. “I’m coming!” Dean says. “I’m crossing the street now.” Amy can hear cars. “Are you running?” “No, I’m walking fast,” he says. “I’m carrying a heavy bag.”

“Hurry up! The train is arriving,” Amy says. Dean stops. “Oh no, it’s raining! I’m getting wet.” “What are you doing?” “I’m opening my umbrella,” he says. Amy laughs.

Now Amy is standing on the platform. People are getting on the train, and a man is closing the doors. She looks along the street. A tall person with a big red umbrella is running towards her.

“Wait!” Dean shouts. “I’m here!” He is breathing hard, and his umbrella is breaking. Amy is smiling when she gives him a ticket. “Come on, the train is leaving!” They jump on as the doors are closing.
