Marcos works at the community centre. On Saturday, he has a craft workshop for children. Six children sit at the table with paper, glue and paint.
“What can you do?” Marcos asks. “I can paint,” Lila says. “I can cut paper,” Tom says. “I can draw cats,” Mia says. Marcos writes their names on a board.
“Can you sing?” Marcos asks. All the children laugh. “Yes, we can!” they say. They sing a short song and work with their hands.
A small boy, Sam, is quiet. “Can you help me?” Marcos asks him. “Can you hold the glue?” “Yes, I can!” Sam says. He holds the glue for everybody.
At the end, the table is full of cats, birds and houses. Marcos paints a big blue fish. “Marcos can paint too!” Lila says. Everybody laughs.
