Nina stayed in the library after class to finish her . Her blue was on the chair beside her. Another blue backpack was on the next chair, but she did not notice it.

When the bell rang, Nina closed her notebook and took the nearest backpack. She hurried to science class and sat down before the teacher arrived.

Then she opened the bag and saw a history book, a red , and a notebook with the name Leo on the . Her own backpack had a yellow and a science book. She had taken the wrong one.

Nina felt embarrassed, but she left the classroom and returned to the library. Leo was there, looking under the table and checking the shelves.

“I’m really sorry,” Nina said. “The backpacks look almost the same.” Leo laughed because he had already guessed what happened. They exchanged bags and decided to put bright stickers on the zips.
