Dear Mr Patel,
Thank you very much for the offer. I was delighted to learn that the team would like me to join, and I have given the proposal careful thought.

The role is exactly what I was hoping for. However, the proposed salary of £31,000 is slightly below the range I had in mind, given my five years of experience in digital campaigns. Would it be possible to consider £34,000? I would be willing to accept a smaller bonus in return.

There is one further point. I would prefer to work from home on Fridays, as I currently do, and to start at 8 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. so that I can finish earlier. If a compromise is needed, I could come into the office every Friday for the first three months.

I would be glad to start on 2 September, provided that my notice period with my current employer ends as planned. Please let me know whether these terms are acceptable. I am confident that we can reach an agreement.
