Lena does not feel well. She has a sore throat and a small cough. She can eat and drink, but talking is difficult. She wants to see a doctor.
Lena calls the health centre. “Can I have an appointment, please?” she asks. The receptionist says, “Yes, at ten tomorrow morning.” Lena writes down the time.
The next day, Lena arrives early. The doctor asks, “How do you feel?” Lena says, “My throat hurts, and I have a cough.”
The doctor listens and asks some questions. She gives Lena simple advice: rest, drink water and come back if she feels worse. Lena understands the instructions.
At home, Lena makes a warm drink and sits with a book. She tells her sister, “I know what to do now.” She puts the doctor's advice next to her bed.
