Eva is new in town. It is Saturday morning. She sits by the window in Tom’s bakery. There are people at the other tables, but Eva is alone. She has a coffee and a warm bread roll.

There is a red notebook on the chair next to her. Eva takes it to Tom. “Is this yours?” she asks. “No,” he says. “You can look inside. Perhaps there is a name.”

The first page has the name Lily. There is no address or phone number. The next pages have drawings: a cat, a blue bridge and a green bicycle. A red scarf is on the bicycle.

Eva shows Tom the drawing of the bicycle. “Do you know Lily?” she asks. Tom looks at the page. “No, but I know that bicycle. A young man brings our eggs on it.” “Does he come today?” Eva asks.

Before Tom can answer, a bicycle stops outside. Eva looks up. It is green. There is a red scarf on it. She takes the notebook and goes to the door.
