Laura planned a perfect day with her cousin: swimming, reading, and eating sandwiches on a near the water. The sky was clear when they left home.

When they arrived, the beach looked beautiful but uncomfortable. The was strong, and flew into Laura’s book before she finished the first page.

Laura felt disappointed. She had imagined a quiet afternoon, not a windy beach. Her cousin suggested moving to a small café above the beach where they could still see the sea.

They ordered and sat at an outside table. From there, the wind felt fresh instead of annoying. Laura ate her , read a little, and watched people trying to keep their umbrellas still.

The day did not match her plan, but it gave her a different kind of memory. On the way home, Laura said she wanted to come back when the wind was calmer.
