Evan borrowed an animal book from the school because he needed information for a project. When he opened the book, a fell onto the table.

The note was short: “Blue . Four o’clock. Bring the book.” Evan looked around the quiet library, but nobody seemed to be watching him.

At first, he thought it was a joke. Then he noticed a small stamp at the bottom of the note: . At four o’clock, he walked to the blue shelf with the animal book under his arm.

Three students were already there, each holding a different book with a note inside. The librarian explained that the club used hidden notes to invite curious readers.

Evan stayed for twenty minutes. Before he left, two students recommended books for him to borrow next week.
