Eva goes into the library with Lily’s red notebook. A woman is putting a poster on the glass door. It says: “Pictures by the river. Saturday, five o’clock.” There is a blue bridge in the picture.

“I’m looking for Lily,” Eva says. “She draws pictures.” “Yes, I know her,” the woman says. “I’m Anna. Lily is at the bridge. She is helping with the tables for our art show.”

Eva opens the notebook at the drawing of the bridge. “This bridge?” she asks. Anna nods. “Yes. Go straight on. Turn left at the park. You can see it from there,” she says.

Then rain hits the library window. Anna looks outside. Her phone rings. She listens and puts it down. “No show today,” she says. “The pictures cannot stay outside in this rain.”

Eva closes the notebook and puts it in her bag. She has an umbrella. She walks to the river and sees the blue bridge. The tables are empty. Then she sees someone under the bridge, next to a large bag.
