Ben walks home after school. On Oak Street, he sees a white house with two blue doors.

Most houses have one front door. This house has two. One door is small. The other is tall and wide.

Ben asks Mrs Stone, an old neighbour, “Why are there two blue doors?”

Mrs Stone smiles. “The wide door was for bicycles,” she says. “This house was a small repair shop many years ago.”

Ben looks at the doors again. Now Ben knows why the doors are different.
