Ben noticed the house with two blue doors on his walk home from school. He had passed it many times, but that day the afternoon light made both doors look unusually bright.

The first door was a normal . The second was wider and taller, almost like a garage door, but there was no driveway. Ben could not understand why a small house needed two entrances.

Mrs. Stone, who lived across the street, saw him looking and asked what he wanted to know. Ben pointed to the door. “Why is that one there?”

She explained that the house had been a before it became a family home. Customers used the wide door to bring bikes inside, and the owner painted both doors blue so people could find the shop easily.

Ben thanked Mrs Stone. On his way home, he began to notice other old details in the street.
