Mandy’s Job Offer

Mandy has a small design studio. Today she finds an old email from her friend Jonas. It says, “Do you want a job in Berlin?” Mandy’s old answer is “No.”
Mandy remembers: “My mother is ill. I want to stay near her.” Now Jonas writes again: “Come and see us. We are a big team now!”
Mandy is happy for him, but she is a little sad. She calls her sister. “My old answer is very quick,” she says. “I do not ask any questions.”
Her sister says, “You have your own studio now. That is good. You can try new things today.” Mandy is quiet. It is true.
That evening, Mandy writes to Jonas: “Hello! Do you have work for me?” Jonas answers in five minutes: “Yes! Send me your work.”
Mandy feels better. She opens a new file and begins to work.
