Tomorrow Leo’s class is going to the science museum. The teacher, Mrs Park, speaks to the class. “You have to be at school at eight o’clock,” she says. “The bus leaves at half past eight, so you can’t be late.”

“Do we have to wear uniform?” asks Sam. “No, you don’t have to wear uniform,” Mrs Park says, “but you have to wear comfortable shoes. We have to walk a lot.” Leo writes in his notebook: shoes, eight o’clock.

At home, Leo’s mum helps him. “You have to take a packed lunch,” she says. “Do I have to bring water too?” Leo asks. “Yes, you do.” His little sister Amy laughs. “I don’t have to go to the museum. I have to stay at nursery!”

In the morning, Leo has to run to the bus stop because he is late. Sam waves from the window. “Do we have to sit with a partner?” Leo asks Mrs Park. “Yes. Everybody has to sit with a partner, and you have to stay in your seat until the bus stops.”

At the museum, the guide says, “You have to leave your bags here, but you don’t have to be silent!” The children laugh. Leo smiles. It is going to be a great day.
