Carla needs a bike for work. The bus is slow and expensive. In a shop, a new bike costs 400 euros. Carla cannot pay that.
At home, she sees an advert on the wall of her building. “Bike for sale, 120 euros.” It is from her neighbour, Mr Diaz.
Mr Diaz shows her the bike in the garage. It is green and a little old. Carla checks the brakes and the tyres. They work well.
“Can you do 100 euros?” Carla asks. Mr Diaz smiles. “Yes, 110.” Carla says yes.
On Monday, Carla rides to work. It takes fifteen minutes. She is happy. The old green bike is a good choice.
