Elena has a big lunch on Sunday. Her friends come at one o’clock. Elena is very busy, so she calls her brother Marcus. “Please help me,” she says.

Marcus comes at eleven. Elena shows him the kitchen. “Please help me with the salad,” she says. He helps her, and she thanks him. “Thank you, Marcus. You are the best!”

At one o’clock, Sofia and Dan arrive. Elena shows them the table. “This seat is for you, Sofia,” she says. “And that seat is for him.”

The friends are hungry. “Where is the bread, Elena?” Dan asks. Elena looks for it in the kitchen, but she cannot see it. Marcus finds it next to the fridge. “Here it is!” he says, and he gives it to them.

After lunch, Marcus washes the dishes. “Thank you,” Elena says. “You help me today, and I help you next week.” They laugh together.
