Marcus works at the community centre. On Saturday, he has an art class for children. Six children sit at the table with paper, glue and paint.

“What can you do?” Marcus asks. “I can paint,” Lila says. “I can cut paper,” Tom says. “I can draw cats,” Mia says. Marcus writes their names on a board.

“Can you sing?” Marcus asks. All the children laugh. “Yes, we can!” they say. They sing a short song and work with their hands.

A small boy, Sam, is quiet. “Can you help me?” Marcus asks him. “Can you hold the glue?” “Yes, I can!” Sam says. He holds the glue for everybody.

At the end, the table is full of cats, birds and houses. Marcus paints a big blue fish. “Look! Marcus can paint too!” Lila says. Everybody laughs.
