Marcus worked at the community centre. On Saturday he had a craft workshop for children. Six children sat at the table with paper, glue and paint.

“What can you do?” Marcus asked. “I can paint,” Lila said. “I can cut paper,” Tom said. “I can draw cats,” Mia said. Marcus wrote their names on a board.

“Can you sing?” Marcus asked. All the children laughed. “Yes, we can!” they said. They sang a short song, and they worked with their hands at the same time.

A small boy, Sam, was quiet. “Can you help me?” Marcus asked him. “Can you hold the glue?” “Yes, I can!” Sam said happily. He held the glue for everybody.

At the end, the table was full of cats, birds and houses. Marcus painted a big blue fish. “Marcus can paint too!” Lila said, and everybody laughed.
