Omar works in a small office. He is always busy, and he never has a proper lunch. At one o’clock, he eats a biscuit at his desk and keeps typing.

On Monday, there is a green box on his desk. A note says, “Please eat this at one o’clock.” Inside, there is warm soup and bread. Omar looks around the office, but nobody is looking at him.

Omar is hungry, so he eats the soup. It is very good! On Tuesday, there is a new box with rice and chicken. This time the note says, “Sit down. Do not work.” Omar sits down and eats slowly.

On Wednesday, Omar wants to find the cook. He asks his boss, and he asks Dana at reception. “I don’t know,” they both say. But Dana smiles a little, and Omar notices it.

On Thursday, Omar goes to the kitchen at noon. Mrs Ray, the cleaner, is there with a green box. “You never eat,” she says. “Now you can say thank you.” Omar laughs. “Thank you!” On Friday, a new note says, “Today, we eat together.”
