On Sunday afternoon, Olivia takes her grandfather to the city museum. There is a new about how the streets have changed over the last hundred years. Olivia expects to see old buses and shops, but she is surprised by how interesting the photographs are.

In one picture, she notices a little red bus and a bakery with a blue door. She points it out to her grandfather because the shop looks familiar. He studies the photograph for a moment and smiles.

“I buy bread there with my father,” he tells her. He remembers the warm smell when the baker opened the door in the morning. Olivia had never heard this story before, although she knows her grandfather in that part of town.

A museum guide offers to show them a larger copy of the photograph. The street name becomes easier to read, and Olivia realises that it is the road where her grandfather lived as a child. She asks the guide whether other pictures of the area are .

Before leaving, Olivia photographs the display information so she can find out more later. At home, her grandfather brings out an old . Together, they compare his photographs with the pictures from the .
