Lena wants short hair. She calls the hairdresser and makes an appointment for Saturday. She writes the time on a small card: ten thirty.

On Saturday, Lena gets up early. She has breakfast and walks to the shop. It is nine thirty. The door is closed, and there is nobody inside.

Lena looks at her card. Her appointment is at ten thirty, not nine thirty! There is a café next to the shop. She goes inside and buys a tea.

At ten, a man opens the shop. Lena finishes her tea and walks to the door. “Can I wait here?” she asks. “Yes, of course,” he says. “Please sit down.”

At ten thirty, Lena sits in front of the mirror. The man asks, “How short?” Lena shows him a picture. “Like this, please.” Now she is ready for a change.
